Style Palette: Stylish Sleepover

With the trend of ‘Babymoons’ exploding over the last few years, this week’s style palette offers some useful suggestions of what to pack to stay stylish, yet comfortable on your vacation.

babymoon  noun: informal

a relaxing or romantic holiday taken by parents-to-be before their baby is born.

Packing doesn’t have to be difficult thanks to Pitterpac’s latest addition. Not only a changing bag, The Whitehall Noir’s many pockets provide a haven for overnight travel essentials, whilst the water resistant lining is perfect to hold toiletries without the fear of spillage.

The size of the bag also means it will be accepted by most airlines as overhead luggage. Throw on some designer sunglasses to complement the high end feel of the Whitehall Noir’s woven details and you’ll be ready for your airport paparazzi moment!

So what do we suggest that you should pack for your last romantic getaway before the baby arrives?

The combination of the black lace and soft fabric make these Indulgence Pyjamas (for maternity & breastfeeding) from Mama Moosh make them a perfect choice to keep you comfy, without ruining your seductress skills.

  1. The co-ordinating fold up slippers from Boux Avenue will fit perfectly into the elasticated pockets of The Whitehall Noir.  A bargain at £14.99 and will feature again when packing your hospital bag.
  2. The Necessity bra from Hot Milk will keep you supported during the evening hours
  3. Every pregnant lady knows that a good massage is the best way to ease muscular tension, whilst enjoying the added bonus of time with your other half. However, caution must be taken when using Aromatherapy oils when expecting. Cue: Cow Shed’s Baby Cow Organic Rich Massage Oil.
  4. Once all the romance is over and it’s time to sleep, support your bump with the DreamGenii Pregnancy pillow.

Now, all you need to do is decide which luxury location you’ll retreat to. For 10 of the best babymoon resort ideas check out Fodor’s Travel here.

When Pitterpac meets Clark & Gray

Everyone loves finding a new best friend, especially a friend who just *gets* you, your views and shares your style cred.   Well we’re simply over the moon with our new BFF and can’t wait to introduce her to you!

Enter: Clark&Gray

Clark & Gray not only agree with Pitterpac that mums don’t need to ditch the style as they enter the maternity ward, but they offer some knock out styles which even your non-pregnant friends would swoon over.

Designed by fashion forward UK designer Thea Clark, the aim of the brand is to:

provide effortless style for women to feel beautiful and confident. With a soft tailored approach, using high quality fabrics and clever detailing we are able to offer a timeless style for pregnancy and beyond.
Our zip, belt and pleat detailing throughout the range allows mothers-to-be to travel through their pregnancy in style and customize their items to fit their growing needs. Whether it is in the early stages of pregnancy or the final trimester where a woman is at her largest, or whether it’s just that bit of post-baby birth weight that is difficult to shift, we have got it all covered.

Our hearts were immediately taken by the gorgeous Day dress, which offers a versatile denim dress in a classic cut, with an eye catching exposed zip giving a zap of colour as you pass.

Other designs not to be missed include the Collarless coat with contrast pockets and of course the Audrey Hepburn worthy Mac in beige and navy.

Followers of our Facebook and Twitter feeds will know that our friendship has been taken to the next level as Pitterpac and Clark&Gray are offering an exclusive Classic Maternity package, combining their classic mac in beige, a style staple for any bump, with our brand new Whitehall Noir leather changing bag.

Check it out here.

With spring around the corner and our mac and handbag combo hanging in the wardrobe, you’ll never have a ‘nothing to wear’ day again!

The Whitehall Noir

We are so very excited to announce the arrival of our latest addition to our collection of leather changing bags, The Whitehall Noir.

Created in the colour of glamour, mystery and rebellion, The Whitehall Noir takes on the staple shape and woven detail of our original Whitehall and takes it to the next level. Why did we choose black? Well, we couldn’t agree more with Christian Dior who stated:

“You can wear black at any time. You can wear it at any age. You may wear it for almost any occasion.”

Not only that, but black battles any dirt or grime that is inevitable when facing baby nappy changes on the go, leaving you looking clean, crisp and bang on trend.

The Whitehall and The Whitehall Noir offer identical interior designs, with a magnitude of pockets to store each and every item you’ll need for your child through every stage. We’ve even added a large central pocket to either keep your personal items fabulous, or store even more items for your little one. You can also expect: two large elasticated pockets for bottles, or bulky items, a wall of leather trim pockets or varying sizes, to store smartphones, weaning cutlery, books, toys, and much more. We’ve also added a smaller zip closed pocket to secure valuable items alongside a leather key fob to stop you having to rummage for your keys again.

Also included with your purchase is an insulated bottle holder and padded changing mat made out of the same wipe clean, water resistant lining as the interior of the bags.

So, all that’s left for you to decide is whether black is the new mustard? Which Whitehall will you choose?

As seen in Vogue’s September issue… The Whitehall changing bag.

Unless you’ve not turned on the TV, opened a paper, or indeed surfed the internet over the past month you’ll be fully aware of the excitement surrounding the arrival of our new royal baby, Prince George.

Vogue fuelled our baby fever this month with their ‘Royally Spoilt’ editorial, focusing on luxury baby items worthy of Kate, Will and George and the changing bag of choice was our Whitehall luxury leather changing bag!

The Award Winning Whitehall!

We are very pleased to announce that the Whitehall Changing bag has been awarded a ‘Highly Commended’ status in this years Junior Magazine Style Awards.  Celebrating everything that is beautiful in a child’s life from fabulous fashion and shopping, lifestyle and interiors, travel, food, restaurants, toys and books, the Junior Design Awards recognise the crème de la crème of the design world.

“Whitehall by Pitterpac, £189

An eye-catching choice for the fashion-conscious, the woven plaited detail pays homage to luxe Italian designer Bottega Veneta. The mustard hue is on-trend this summer, yet also classic enough to stay stylish for years to come. This bag also has hidden depths, with all of baby’s essentials packed inside, including an elegant signature Pitterpac changing mat.” Junior Magazine
